Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 4890 1GB PCI-E model is a new SAPPHIRE original design. It has Sapphire’s Vapor-X cooling module on the GPU together with a heatsink and profiled fan venting heat out of the case. It is quieter and significantly faster than the standard reference model, with core clock speed of 870MHz and 1GB of DDR5 memory clocked at 1050MHz. Any two of the four output options can be used simultaneously, giving maximum flexibility for connection to different display types. Reviewer: a Ware,
nice card, seems most review sites run the resolutions up to 24/30" monitor display resolutions. I jave a very nice 20" lcd and at max res max detail max aa/ff everything plays well, the crysis games, UT3, farcry, doom3, NFS Carbon, ect.. Very fast card, and the vapor x cooling makes it nice to oc with.
Great card!

Amazing card. Bought after plenty of research on what would be the best card for the best price at the time it was released.

Running it on a 32" 1080p HDTV as my main monitor with a second 22" LCD at 1680x1050 and the card runs flawlessly.
Plays Modern Warfare 2, Bad Company 2, Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Origins, and others all at Max (or very close to max) settings with no problems at all.
Runs extremely cool (thanks to the Vapor-X cooling chamber) and I was even able to tweak it some more by OC'ing it.

Overall I give the card 5 stars as it has performed amazingly for just a single GPU.
Beware the cold boot issue

This card has a known issue whereby, when starting from a cold boot, it will turn the fan on 100% and fail to start the monitor. Although it will eventually work if you reset a few times, I've gone through two of these now and am giving up. For more information:
